Bangladesh Film Festival

The annual Bangladesh Film Festival is the only film festival in the UK
exclusively dedicated to Bangladeshi cinema. Taking place in East London,
the festival provides a rare opportunity for the large local Bangladeshi
community to be in touch with classical and contemporary entertainment from their country, while also allowing people from other backgrounds to discover Bangladeshi cinema. The 5th Bangladesh Film Festival will take place from October 3 - 12, various venues in East London.

The main festival will take place at the Genesis Cinema in Mile End Road and also in Whitechapel Art Gallery, Oxford House and in Dockland Museum.

There will be a special workshop at the Bethnal Green Training Centre, Brady Arts Centre in Hanbury Street which will focus on good film making trend. The workshops are for those interested in film making from beginners to experience people.
