The Networking Lunch at Ginger on Sunday 8 June provided an opportunity for BBPA members to meet fellow British-Bangladesh professionals, to reflect on our common experiences, and contribute towards a positive perception of our community in the UK.

Eighty young professionals attended the event, and our guest speakers included Councillor Nasim Ali, the first Bangladeshi Mayor of Camden, Farhad Mahmood Managing Director of Ekushey TV, Shahin Choudhury Westcome MBE, who was the first Bangladeshi woman architect and Sophie Pattinson who provided an English woman's account of working in Bangladesh.
