Rain - A Festival of Music and Dance

The BBPA would like to invite you to attend Rain An evening of music and Dance at the Curtain Theatre, Toynbee Hall on Sunday 3 October 1999 at 6 pm.

The programme demonstrates the latest work of leading British-Bangladeshi choreographer Mukid Choudhury, and has been produced in association with the Waves Dance Company.

The Waves Dance Company, based in Islington was founded in 1994 with the aim of promoting the cultural diversity of Bangladeshi society. The company strives to find a way for youths of Bangladeshi origin to overcome the cultural identity

This multinational company consists of professional and semi-professional artists trained in classical Indian and Bangladeshi as well as Western and African contemporary dance and music traditions.
