BBPA Conference

Bangladesh is going under water - what are you going to do about it?

The conference seeks to explore the impacts of climate changes on Bangladesh and explore what we can as a community in the United Kingdom do to safeguard the futures of our ancestral homeland. In particular, the conference aims to

  • To give some community leadership on the issue of climate change and outline a course of action for the delegates to the conference.
  • To learn about the ways in which we can participate effectively within the political process on a local, national and international level.
  • To provide an opportunity for British Bangladeshis to learn about the environmental impact of climate change on Bangldesh including the impact on wildlife with a case study of the situation of the Royal Bengal Tiger.
