The BBPA Careers Fair 2000

A Careers Information Fair for Ethnic Minority Graduates

The BBPA's Careers Fair for Ethnic Minority Graduates was a one day event held on 30 September 2000 providing information, training and advice about careers. It aimed to inspire confidence in graduate job seekers by giving them a chance to meet successful people from similar backgrounds, and to dispel the idea that certain career paths are not available because of gender or ethnicity.

The Careers Fair also marked the 150th King's Cross Partnership Community Chest Project Grant. On the day the Community Development Project presented the BBPA with £2,500 towards the cost of the fair.
