KCB After School Homework Club

Kings Cross and Brunswick Neighbourhood Association is a long established community organisation providing services to the local community to help improve the quality of life of people living in the Kings cross and Brunswick area situated in the London Borough of Camden.

The after school project has been running now for three years. The aim of the project is to help children from ethnic minority groups in Camden who are under achieving academically with particular emphasis on local Bengali children.

The Project Coordinator, Razna Miah, is looking to recruit 2 tutors to teach in what is a friendly community based environment for 2 hrs per week teaching maths, English and other national curriculum subjects to children between the ages of 5 to 11 years.

Time: 4.30pm - 6.30pm on Tuesday evening

Skills and experience:
Degree in Maths or English or any other National Curriculum subject desirable. Also experience of working with children and young people preferably in a learning environment would be useful.

Payment: Hourly (payable during term time only)
