Healthy Living Centre Coordinator (London)

KCB is a dynamic and vibrant community organisation working with local
residents to build a strong community in the King’s Cross and old
Brunswick wards of the London Borough of Camden. KCB has three
community centres, a multi-disciplinary staff team working with
children, young people, older people, and minority ethnic communities
and has an excellent track record of community development work.

The following post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund to support the 5
year “Healthy Families Partnership @ Kings Cross” Healthy Living Centre
project. The project commenced in October 2002 and aims to address the
health inequalities and needs of children and young people, parents and
carers in south Camden, specifically the ward of King’s Cross and former
wards of Brunswick and Holborn.

HEALTHY LIVING CENTRE COORDINATOR Salary: P02 PT 35 £28,863 (Full Time)

To provide overall coordination and management of the Healthy Families
Partnership @ Kings Cross Healthy Living Centre. You will require a
degree level qualification in a relevant area and a minimum two years
experience of working with a wide range of organisations in a community
setting. You will also be IT literate, can demonstrate a high level of
organisational skills, possess excellent written and verbal
communication skills as well as have some experience of managing
community health projects.
