YOUTH PARTICIPATION WORKER
Pay Scale : £ 21,278 - £ 22,176 (Inc. ILW)
Period : 2 Year fixed contract, negotiable for a further year
Hours : 35 hrs a week

LAACC is a progressive charitable organisation with an ambitious service
delivery agenda for communities in North London. Our aim is to enhance
the quality of life for those within the communities in which we work.
We particularly seek to empower young people to help them promote
social, economic and environmental well being in the Finsbury Park area.

As Youth Participation Worker, you will play an active role within the
community offering support and advice to individuals and youth groups to
encourage their participation in local regeneration schemes.
Facilitation and communication skills are essential, in addition to an
ability to empathise and work with young people.

You will have at least two years experience in youth participation work
and will be familiar with co-operating with outside agencies as part of
a multi-disciplinary team.

Some evening and weekend working will be required.
