KCB is a dynamic and vibrant community organisation working with local residents to build a strong community in the King’s Cross and old Brunswick wards of the London Borough of Camden. KCB has three community centres, a multi-disciplinary staff team working with children, young people, older people, and minority ethnic communities and has an excellent track record of community development work.
The following post is funded by the Big Lottery Fund to support the 5 year “Healthy Families Partnership @ Kings Cross” Healthy Living Centre project. The project commenced in October 2002 and aims to address the health inequalities and needs of children and young people, parents and carers in south Camden, specifically the wards of Holborn, King’s Cross and former Brunswick
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Salary: NJC APT&C Scale 5 Pt. 24 £22,065 (pro rata for 17.5 hrs per week)
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Healthy Living Centre Coordinator and the Healthy Families Partnership @ King’s Cross. You will require two years experience of administering voluntary/community organisations, be IT literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience of organising meetings, minute-taking and producing newsletters, posters, and publicity materials.
